This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service as a rider or as a driver-partner. 2. Information We Collect
Information Collected from All Users
- Contact Information: Phone number and email for account creation and authentication
- Profile Information: Name and profile photo
- Location Data: Real-time location while using the app
- Communications: In-app messages, support tickets, and feedback
Additional Information from Riders
- Trip Details: Pickup and drop-off addresses, ride preferences
- Payment Information: Card or wallet details processed through licensed payment providers
Additional Information from Driver-Partners
- Identity Documents: Government-issued ID, driver's licence, and proof of address
- Vehicle Documents: Vehicle registration, roadworthiness certificate, and insurance certificate
- Vehicle Details: Make, model, colour, year, and licence plate, plus photos of the vehicle
- Background-Check Data: Information returned by accredited verification providers
- Payout Information: Bank account details for fare remittances
- Performance Data: Ratings, acceptance and cancellation rates, completed trips, and earnings
Automatically Collected Information
- Device information (device type, operating system, app version)
- App usage data and log files
- Push notification tokens
3. Camera and Photo Access
Our apps request access to your device's camera and photo library for the following purposes:
- Riders: To take or select a profile photo for your account
- Driver-Partners: To take or upload a profile photo, photos of your vehicle, and images of your licence, vehicle papers, and other onboarding documents
Camera and photo data is only accessed when you explicitly choose to take or select an image. We do not access your camera or photos in the background.
4. Location Data
We collect location data to:
- Show your current location on the map
- Match riders with nearby driver-partners
- Calculate ride routes, distances, fares, and estimated arrival times
- Track trip progress in real time for safety and dispute resolution
- For driver-partners: show your position to assigned riders while you are online
Rider location is collected while you are using the app. Driver-partner location is collected while you are online and available to receive trip requests, and during active trips. You can stop background location collection by going offline or revoking the permission in your device settings, although doing so may prevent you from receiving trips.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and maintain our ride-hailing platform
- Match riders and driver-partners and facilitate trips
- Process ride requests, payments, and driver-partner payouts
- Verify driver-partner identity, eligibility, and vehicle compliance
- Send push notifications about trip status, account activity, and earnings
- Improve our services and user experience
- Ensure safety and security of trips and investigate incidents
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations
- Communicate with you about your account, trips, or earnings
6. Data Sharing
We may share your information with:
- Riders and driver-partners on the same trip: Limited identifying information (name, photo, rating, masked phone number) and, for driver-partners, vehicle make, model, and licence plate, to enable the trip
- Payment processors: Payment and payout details to process transactions
- Identity-verification and background-check providers: Information needed to onboard and re-verify driver-partners
- Service providers: Third parties that help us operate the platform (e.g., mapping, analytics, cloud hosting, customer support)
- Insurance providers, regulators, courts, and law-enforcement agencies: Where permitted or required by law
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
